Raj Kundra Says ‘Its Unacceptable’ To Drag Wife Shilpa Shetty’s Name Amidst ED Raids; ‘Respect The Boundaries’
Earlier this week it was reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband-businessman Raj Kundra’s house. The businessman has now broken the silence and shared the first statement after the incident. Taking to his Instagram Stories on Saturday morning, Raj Kundra asked everyone not to “repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters”.
He wrote, “To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates’, ‘pornography’ and ‘money laundering’, let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth, in the end, justice will prevail!”
He added, “A note to the media: It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries.!!! #ED”
As per media reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at 15 locations, including the Juhu residence of businessman Raj Kundra and his wife, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty. The raids also extended to offices and premises associated with Kundra’s business operations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh. These actions are part of an ongoing investigation into a money laundering case linked to Kundra’s alleged involvement in a pornography racket.
