Andy Cohen Scolds ‘RHOSLC’ Star Bronwyn Newport For Dropping An F-Bomb On ‘WWHL’: “We’re On Live TV”
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s fan-favorite rookie Bronwyn Newport didn’t have to wait until the Season 5 reunion to get a scolding from Andy Cohen. While making her Watch What Happens Live debut on Wednesday night (Oct. 16), Newport had to be reminded that she was on “live TV” when she accidentally dropped an F-bomb.
During a round of polls pertaining to the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Cohen asked Newport and actress Heather McMahan if they believed Lisa Barlow was the one who fed a damaging story about Whitney Rose‘s business to a social media account.
“I also say no. I’m Lisa’s old friend and I will tell you this: I don’t have a business but she never fucked with one of mine,” Newport said, prompting the show’s fast-acting producers to bleep out her use of the expletive.
Cohen then added, “There you go. OK. We’re on live TV.”
However, this is hardly the first time Cohen has had to remind a Real Housewives star to dial back on the profanity. In fact, it happened several times in one episode when Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan made an appearance back in August.
Ayan’s first slip-up was when Cohen asked for her reaction to seeing how done Melissa Gorga was with her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice.
“Good for her. Because Teresa is done. Teresa doesn’t give a shit,” Ayan said, to which Cohen quickly replied, “Right. OK. We are on live television.”
Producers were forced to mute Ayan’s audio once again when she was asked to rate her co-star Taleen Marie‘s first season on a scale of one to 10 — with Marie sitting in the audience right in front of her.
“I am not going to lie and I’ve said this to you over —” Ayan began, before her audio cut out. When the sound returned, Cohen again reminded her, “[We’re on live] television, watch your mouth.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
