Comedian Sumit Sourav Starts Fan Feud As He Posts Picture With Ajay Devgn After Roasting The Actor
Comedian Sumit Sourav has divided the internet with his standup on actor Ajay Devgn. Sumit roasted the actor in his latest performance making jokes on the latter’s movie choices and his endorsements of Vimal Pan masala, alcohol brands and rummy.
His standup drew a range of reactions from viewers, many of who enjoyed the gig but quite a few got offended. As a result, Sumit was forced to take the video down, announcement of which he made on social media.
In a post on Instagram last week, he wrote, “As many of you have reached out to me asking about the video, I would like to update you all that I have taken down the video.”
Surprisingly, he later shared a picture with Ajay asking fans to ‘stay tuned.’
“Never thought my work will take me to meet him,” he captioned the post. Many reacted to the picture as his followers were happy seeing the two together whereas some called the comedian out for making a U-turn.
His fans are sharing the roast video on social media again while praising him for his jokes. Many also commented on the post about removal of the video from YouTube.

“It was absolutely hilarious,” a user commented. “That was the best set you have done. Your writing was always top notch. But this set was tight. Timing was perfect. It should have stayed,” said another.
Those in defence of Ajay said that the jokes were in bad taste. One even reminded the comedian that the actor has won four national awards in his career spanning over three decades.
“You should say sorry to Ajay Devgn,” a user wrote. “Agree, he’s as good or as bad as the rest. He had some good roles, good acting, and I’m not even a fan. But entire comedy on one person and that too putting him down, is in bad taste, it’s actually defamatory,” said another.
