PFLUGERVILLE (KXAN) — Part of I-35 is closed Tuesday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash. According to the Department of Public Safety, it responded to the crash around 12:15 a.m on I-35 southbound at Grand Avenue Parkway.
The roadway is expected to stay closed until around noon.
DPS says five semi-trailers and two passenger cars are involved. Traffic is currently being diverted onto McNeil Road in Round Rock.

DPS confirmed with KXAN that people were hurt but did not have any more details.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
