Four Men Arrested After Staging Fake Kidnapping Bid In UP; Video Goes Viral

In an unusual turn of events, four young men in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district found themselves under arrest after staging a fake kidnapping in broad daylight, all in an attempt to create a social media reel. The incident took place in Khatauli, where the group concocted the dramatic stunt, but their prank quickly spiraled out of control when bystanders and the police got involved.

The bizarre incident unfolded when two of the men arrived on a motorcycle near a street food vendor where another man was eating chaat. In the staged scene, the duo covered the man’s face with a cloth, pretending to sedate him, and then tried to load him onto their bike.

As they attempted to flee, local onlookers blocked their path, sensing something was wrong. Some bystanders even began filming the apparent kidnapping.
