Karan Johar Calls Out Maheep Kapoor Over Alleged Accusation Of Ozempic Use For Weight Loss; ‘Did You Mean Me?’

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s weight loss has caught everyone’s attention especially after Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor claimed that ‘some people’ are using Ozempic to achieve their fitness goals. She reportedly made the comments on season 3 of Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives show.

One social media user was quick to speculate that director Karan Johar must be one of the recipients of the jibe considering his drastic weight loss.

“Maheep rightly called out people for using Ozempic for fast weight loss and driving it out of stock for people with diabetes. Hope she calls out Karan Johar too, the producer of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives (sic),” the user wrote on X.

Karan reacted by posting it with a brief rebuttal of the claims. “Oh lord!!! Being healthy and eating well and reinventing the wheel of your own nutrition! Aur Ozempic ko mile credit. And @maheepkapoor did you mean me?” he asked.

Interestingly, Maheep did react to his question by not how the filmmaker expected. Reposting her laughing emojis with a hand on the face emoji, Karan wrote, “You’re laughing? I am offended.”

Notably, both the artists are working together on the Netflix since Karan’s Dharmatic Entertainment has produced it, so it could be nothing more than a friendly banter, or maybe not.

As for Karan’s weight loss, he has insisted that it is completely natural and a result of his fitness regime which he has ‘reinvented.
