For 2025, researchers analysing Nostradamus’ enigmatic verses have suggested potential events that could range from the resolution of a prolonged war to natural disasters, another possible plague, and even an asteroid threat. While these predictions are far from definitive, they often capture the imagination of people searching for meaning in his mysterious writings.
End of the Russia-Ukraine war
One of Nostradamus’ quatrains appears to hint at the conclusion of a drawn-out conflict, which some believe could refer to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. His writings mention an “exhausted army” and the use of alternative forms of currency, signaling economic strain as a possible catalyst for ending hostilities.
“Through long war all the army exhausted,so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon,” he reportedly wrote.
The words “Gallic brass” and the “crescent sign of the Moon” has sparked speculation that countries like France and Turkey could play significant roles in the conflict’s resolution or escalation.
