A listing for the Red Lion has gone live on the property site Right Move. The leasehold sale is valued at £175,000.
The listing described it as “a detached two-story property of brick construction with colour washed elevations under a pitched roofs”, as well has having “good outside spaces catering for a mixture of regular locals and tourists, and a good mix of wet and dry trade.”

Its signature beer garden is a favourite for sporting occasions. Most recently, a large LED screen was put up for the EUROS football championships.
Prospective owners of the Red Lion would move into a three-bedroom accommodation.
Pictured as early as the 1930s. The then John Smiths pub – which sat along the old tram line – has been a fixture of the area.
Since 1954, the Red Lion has also been a Grade II listed building, which protects the entire building and outbuildings.
