Pedestrian killed in road crash in Clydebank
The woman, who had been on foot, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of a blue Volkswagen Amarok involved were not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses as they bid to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

They said they are especially keen to speak to the driver of a silver van or minibus which was travelling eastbound prior to the collision.
Road policing Sergeant Adnan Alam said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died. We’re offering them support and will continue to do so as our investigations progress.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far. We know there was a silver-coloured van or minibus travelling eastbound just before the collision and I’m keen to speak to that driver as they may have vital information.
“Anyone with dashcam footage of Dumbarton Road around the time is also asked to review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 2867 of November 7.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out, and fully reopened at about 10pm.
