You may remember a while back that I only found out from The Louise Duffy Show (RTÉ1, weekdays, noon) that Stuck in the Middle with You by Stealers Wheel was written as a kind of Bob Dylan parody. I was so astonished that I didn’t know this, it forced me to make an agonising reappraisal of my whole life.
I, who thought with good reason that I knew everything about music, now had to come to terms with the fact that Louise Duffy apparently knew more than I did.
