Round1 Bowling & Arcade to open new location at SF mall
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco is about to add a major tenant for fun and games. Round1 Bowling & Aracde is opening next month, a spokesperson for parent company Brookfield Properties confirmed to KRON4.
Round1 will be located next to Target at the lower level where Nordstrom used to be, the spokesperson said. The Nordstrom reportedly closed back in 2019.
Although the Brookfield Properties spokesperson was not authorized to announce the opening date, the Japan-based entertainment center will open sometime in November. The Stonestown Round1 will have arcade games, bowling, billiards, karaoke and a party room available to rent out.
Round1 joins a list of establishments set to open at Stonestown within the next 365 days. Supreme Dumplings, Le Soleil and Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya are restaurants set to open soon.
The opening of Round1 comes during a year in which Stonestown experienced a couple of notable business closures. Earlier this year, a longtime McDonald’s permanently closed after more than 30 years at the mall. A popular Japanese pancake restaurant also closed in August.
As of now, there are currently three Round1 locations in the Bay Area: Hayward, San Jose and Concord. All of those locations are open until 2 a.m. daily, according to Round1’s website.
KRON4 reached out to Round1 for more information about the Stonestown location opening. We did not hear back in time for publication.
