Two women charged after ‘more than £2,500 worth of goods stolen’
The charges come after police were called to Horwich in October.
Searches and enquiries by officers led to more than £2,500 of “suspected stolen items” being found.
Florentina Adar, 37, of High Street, Peterborough, has been charged with theft, while Iona Mircea, 32, of no fixed address, has been charged with theft from a shop.
Both women were subsequently bailed and are due to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, December 18.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Florentina Adar, of High Street, Peterborough, has been charged with theft, while Iona Mircea, of no fixed abode, has been charged with theft from a shop.
“Both women were subsequently bailed and are due to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, December 18.
“These charges are a result of an incident in October 2024 when local response offices in Bolton were called to Horwich.”
